On February 1, 2021, we announced the closing of KKR’s acquisition of Global Atlantic. Global Atlantic is now a majority-owned subsidiary of KKR, a public company.
With KKR as our strategic partner, we will strengthen our position as a leading US Annuity and Life Insurance company and enhance our ability to provide compelling solutions to our customers. Global Atlantic will continue to operate as a standalone business, with its current leadership team and same Global Atlantic brand.
