While we believe it’s everyone’s responsibility to drive this work and live these values, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead will partner with stakeholders across the organization to refine our strategy and lead the execution of key initiatives that ensure Global Atlantic is an Employer of Choice.

This position will have a flexible arrangement with two- three days in the office per week post COVID, and attending meetings and industry events as necessary.


  • In partnership with Head of Talent Acquisition, identify and act as key liaison with external diversity organizations and events, including determining event sponsorships, benchmarking participation and other partnerships. 
  • Support and implement value based inclusive interview training.
  • Assist with strategy and direction on campus recruitment.
  • In partnership with Talent, develop data-driven inclusion and diversity programs, training and resources across Global Atlantic that help attract, retain, and promote diverse talent. 
  • Develop and implement a program to align Sr. Leader sponsors with identified high potential diverse talent
  • Mentor and develop Global Atlantic employee networks (employee resource groups and “EEACs”) to build membership, advance employee engagement, and manage DE&I programming.  Lead efforts to launch additional networks and act as a hub to ensure alignment and collaboration between groups. Provide support to ERG and EEAC leads;  assist in leadership transitions. 
  • Manage communications to the organization on the topic of DE&I, including coordination of Community newsletter.
  • In partnership with Talent, analyze engagement survey results to identify trends among different demographic groups, and recommend appropriate action.
  • Identify opportunities for “Best of” workplace awards and execute on plan to pursue, as part of strategy to brand GA as an Employer of Choice. Ensure alignment with other talent engagement strategies.
  • Represent GA on IRI DE&I working group, act as liaison to other external groups such as CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion, Partnership for NYC, and guide the organization on when to sign onto public pledges.  Identify where GA can contribute and what we can leverage from external partnerships.  Bring external programs (e.g. CEO Action’s “Day of Understanding”) to GA. 
  • Identify applicable best practices.
  • Assist with Global Atlantic charitable program, in concert with Chief Culture Officer and GA Foundation. 
  • Report on progress against D&I Scorecard and other representation metrics. 


  • 5-7+ years of professional experience with a Human Resources and Diversity and Inclusion focus in a fast-paced environment with ability to multitask
  • Proven advanced experience using Microsoft Tools- including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Focused experience on D&I strategy and relationships with external partners.
  • Successful candidates will have experience managing programs across numerous stakeholders up to senior-level management.
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Proven experience driving meaningful actions, data- and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively contribute in an environment of multiple stakeholders and reporting relationships;  must have a demonstrated track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and driving them to completion.
  • Highly collaborative and able to influence without authority while also being able to work with significant autonomy.
  • Experience and awareness of cultural diversity and strategies to improve a sense of belonging among all demographic groups.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to articulate strategies to teams across the organization.
  • A passion for people and a steady focus on the needs of a diverse talent base across the employee lifecycle.
