POSITION OVERVIEW

Global Atlantic’s Marketing organization is looking for a, Assistant Vice President, Planning Lead to coordinate delivery processes for the go-to-market function. This position is critical to the success of the engagement and stakeholder collaboration framework across the sales and marketing organizations. The Planning Lead will motivate and support the team in removing roadblocks and achieving their commitments. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with marketing teams to facilitate effective delivery of business objectives and successful outcomes
  • Identify and eliminate roadblocks for the team to help achieve agreed upon commitments
  • Coordinate dependencies with other teams
  • Establish collaborative working relationships with and between matrix team members and stakeholders to provide transparency and create accountability
  • Monitor and report on the progress of deliverables execution through team ceremonies
  • Cultivate an environment that empowers team members with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration
  • Work with stakeholders and team members to continuously improve delivery practices
  • Provide coaching on Agile mindset and daily practices

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and seven or more (7+) years of experience in planning-related functions
  • Three or more (3+) years of experience in a Scrum environment
  • Experience working within various delivery methodologies
  • Basic understanding of the value of iterative and incremental delivery
  • Exceptional negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills
  • Strong communication skills, work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability
  • Financial services industry experience a plus
  • Agile experience is required
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification a plus

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k)), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives.  Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.  The base salary range for this role is $139,000 to $186,000.
