POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Enterprise Application Sr. Analyst role partners with users, vendors and IT team to provide support and administration for various Enterprise Applications. This position will be accountable for identifying how key business changes may impact the implementation and supported technical solutions across the organization. 

Key responsibilities will include the following: 

  • New Requests/Builds  
  • Collaborating on solutions with Solution Architects and other supporting IT areas 
  • Implementing new solutions under the direction of the Solution Architects 
  • Participate in testing and verification of technical solutions 
  • Be a consultant/analyst on strategic projects. 
  • Lead initiatives that span strategy and road map exercises, architecture definition, product selection, application and integration design and implementation. 
  • Partner with business and third-party administrators to design and implement technical solutions supporting underlying business processes. 
  • Participate in developing IT Governance processes and adherence to them. 
  • Communicate the effectiveness and task progress of the technical project team members. 
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. 
  • General Support  
  • Become a subject matter expert in assigned Enterprise Applications by maintaining a thorough and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the applications. 
  • Is primary administrator of applications and appropriately manages required administrative tasks 
  • Responsible for the regular maintenance, updates, fixes and upgrades. This could include executing on the upgrade, testing after upgrade or facilitating UAT 
  • Ensures systems are running at optimal performance and levels 
  • Maintain application run books as needed 
  • Provide training to new and existing users on current and future functionality 
  •  Incident Manager  
  • Manage and facilitate all incidents from Priority 1 to Priority 4, which includes, but not limited to, providing support to users of applications, responding to user-based questions, tickets and assists with troubleshooting issues within applications. 
  • Manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects or requests. 
  • Provides on-call assistance as requested, for after-hours issues and support needs 
  • Resolve incidents if able to, otherwise escalate as needed to various application vendors (provide tier-2 incident response) 

 EDUCATION 

  • An undergraduate degree in an IT related field or similar combination of education and experience 

 SKILLS 

  • A quick learner of software and information technology, and motivated to learn new applications and business operations 
  • Proven experience working with technology vendors 
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills and documentation skills 
  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and email software applications 
  • Self-disciplined, able to work independently, but also able to take direction when necessary 
  • Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues and in advancing personal knowledge 
  • Very organized and detail-oriented 
  • Flexible with time 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 

  • 2-5 years’ experience in financial industry supporting Enterprise Applications 
  • 1-3 years of Office 365/SharePoint support experience 
  • 1-2 years of PowerShell scripting experience 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE  

  • Experience managing records retention and sensitivity labels in O365 
  • Experience working with call center technology 
  • Experience working with private cloud secure file sharing and collaboration solutions 
  • Experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) 

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. 

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives.  Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.  The base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $85,000.
