Job Summary

Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking an upbeat, motivated, and experienced Workplace Experience Manager who will contribute toward our workplace development. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments on workplace projects, while also supporting the workplace day to day.  The individual who fills this role will support the needs of employees operating in a flexible work environment and support the on-site experience that promotes employee productivity and engagement.  Every day will be different in this role and will offer many opportunities to grow professionally. Role responsibilities include:

  • Direct supervision of two NY workplace experience coordinators
  • Welcome employees, vendors, and visitors – handle the “door traffic”
  • Oversee all day-to-day office activities across the New York offices as the main point of contact for office visitors, employees, and vendors
  • Manage vendors and property management to ensure services requirements are being met and any issues are resolved quickly
  • Manage reception area and common spaces like conference rooms to ensure they maintain a professional appearance
  • Ensure workstations, offices, meetings rooms, and collaboration spaces are presentable, equipped, and configured to designated specifications, and employee ready
  • Proactively identify needed updates, repairs, or maintenance in the workplace, including furniture and work with appropriate internal and external business partners to address
  • Verify workplace technology is functioning properly and partner with the technology team as needed
  • Manage onboarding of new employees and vendor relationships
  • Maintain and foster relationships with our partners at KKR, including the real estate, facilities, security, conference center and catering teams to streamline processes and to gain efficiency
  • Manage the office reservation system and maintain updated documentation of space plans, including seat assignments and hoteling neighborhoods
  • Ensure any questions or concerns from employees are addressed in a timely manner and complete any follow up required
  • Liaise with facilities staff as necessary to maintain general appearance of the office
  • Oversee the completion of construction projects, office moves, adds and changes etc.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams including construction workers, vendors, and general staff
  • Multitask without compromising the customer service experience
  • Ad-hoc assignments as needed

Workplace Experience

  • Deliver best-in-class workplace services, balancing cost and business needs to create dynamic and enticing workplaces
  • Work with cross functional teams to help build and implement programs focused on delivering exceptional employee experiences in the workplace
  • Spearhead hospitality training programs for site management team across all offices to ensure consistent experience is delivered across offices
  • Build and implement workplace experience related guidelines, best practices, and standards for the New York offices with the future rollout across the enterprise
  • Continuously evaluate and identify innovative ways to streamline and enhance the employee experience
  • Support the development of a workplace experience program that leverages workplace and furniture design, facility amenities and services, and technology to help drive employee engagement
  • Support the development of short- and long-term initiatives and programs for the innovation of workplace amenities and services
  • Responsible for delivering results related to workplace experience and employee satisfaction KPIs
  • Serve as the ambassador for our office first culture, by providing services and that increase employee engagement and productivity
  • Plan and execute on strategic goals for the Corporate Real Estate team by ensuring processes are standardized and scalable
  • Partner with Site Operations team to implement new cost-effective measures for office expenditures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in hospitality, sales and/or workplace management
  • Strong administrative background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond
  • This is an in-office position that requires to be in the office 5 days per week
  • Technically advanced, ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to maintain a professional attitude
  • Skilled communicator – written and verbal
  • Able to multitask, manage time wisely; detail-oriented
  • Team-player with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to prioritize, communicate clearly and demonstrate a sense of urgency
  • Strong service orientation and willingness to learn
  • Willingness to travel to the different Global Atlantic offices

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Berwyn, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. 

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k)), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives.  Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.  The base salary range for this role is $75,240.90 to $143,316.
