The Analyst will join Global Atlantic’s Institutional business. We are a ~50-person principal investing team within Global Atlantic Financial Group, subsidiary of KKR. We are focused on deploying capital on reinsurance and acquisition opportunities in the Insurance Industry. Since Global Atlantic’s founding in 2004, it has executed multiple strategic acquisitions and reinsurance transactions, including block, flow and PRT reinsurance, representing a total of $99.5 billion of assets as of December 31, 2021.

As an integral part of the Institutional team, the Analyst will work closely with members of the team and interface with senior business leaders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing pricing and valuation due diligence on mainly pension risk transfer (PRT) transactions but also other individual annuity and life business. This work would involve the creation of liability cashflows and reserves, and financial statement analysis.
  • Providing support for completed deals’ integration and new strategic initiatives, including but not limited to cross-functional communication/coordination and key documents preparation
  • Assist Institutional pricing team members in generating assumptions and financial projections.
  • Assist in creation of presentation materials to report status updates and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Perform comprehensive data reconciliations and report on ongoing experience studies.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and processes.
  • Enhance/streamline existing processes, models, and management exhibits with a focus on controls and consistency.


  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance or other quantitative business field
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience at an investment bank, insurance company and/or consulting firm; prefer some insurance experience and/or pricing valuation/financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience and strong skills in modeling and data analysis.
  • Strong quantitative and technical abilities, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • High energy with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as being a team player.
  • Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities.
