The Capacity Planning Associate will join the Process Optimization in either our Hartford, CT, Des Monies, IA, or Batesville, IN office. The candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability to make value-based decisions in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain staffing models for all GA call centers. Create and execute a detailed plan with the aim to provide a clear vision on how. the team, department will contribute to the achievement of the company’s strategic goals
  • Produce long and short-term forecasts for both in-house and TPA call centers.
  • Create “what-if” scenarios for changes in business drivers and planning.
  • Collaborate with WFM schedulers & RTAs to ensure appropriate staffing & service levels are met.
  • Research and analyze data to provide insights into team performance. Perform root cause analysis to determine and explain variances in performance.
  • Analyze and optimize business processes to improve workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and deploy capacity when available.
  • Provide qualitative insights on scheduling impact to Operations Management and Senior Leadership team and provide timely recommendations to improve customer experience of the contact center.
  • Assist with the yearly Ops budgeting process. Perform CBAs and quantify savings from initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, and 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Experience in Call Center Operations, Life Insurance field a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills is required.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access (Tableau, VBA, SQL, a plus)
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
  • Skills in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision making.
  • Ability to organize information and have attention to detail and accurately follow procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, management team, other Departments, vendors, and outside agencies, including being sensitive to professional ethics.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
