As a member of the HR Technology Systems team within the IT department, the HRIS Administrator maintains the HR management systems, software, and databases.  Their duties including configuring, troubleshooting, and testing HRIS systems.  They will work with HR leaders to ensure data accuracy and provide support for all ongoing HR system projects and will act at the technical point of contact.  They are also accountable for the day-to-day resolution of technical issues and responding timely to user questions.


  • Develop familiarity and work effectively with various software and reporting packages:   SAP SuccessFactors (all modules), Qualtrics, ADP WorkforceNow, Greenhouse, HR Cloud, Fidelity, iOffice, ~25 data feeds.
  • Collaborating with HR Process Owners and other stakeholders to determine HRIS needs.
  • Make all system configurations needed to implement appropriate features.
  • Creating user accounts, managing access, and creating/updating standard fields.
  • Troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving technical problems.
  • Optimizing HRIS processes, integrating new software, and performing tests.
  • Analyzing data, ensuring data integrity, and running queries.
  • Daily monitoring of all daily data integration jobs. Troubleshoot and resolve failed jobs.
  • Daily monitoring of all daily data integration controls. Resolve data integrity issues.
  • Generate reports on key metrics as needed.
  • Monitor system releases, testing those releases, communicating changes to appropriate stakeholders, monitoring for new features and functions.
  • Tracking and implementing technological advancements in the field of HRIS.
  • Act as a bridge between HR, IT and vendors, addressing inquiries from HR staff and communicating user needs to the vendor product team.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an HRIS administrator is preferred.
  • Experience with HR software: SAP (multiple modules), ADP, etc, is a plus.
  • Experience with database tools (such as SQL) and Microsoft Excel preferred.


  • Proven analytical and research skills with a demonstrated ability to identify problems and systematically gather data, identify root causes, and resolve data integrity issues.
  • An analytical mind-set with problem-solving skills and the ability to understand business challenges and apply technical solutions required.
  • Proficiency in running SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Ability to collaborate, provide technical support and to train.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities for enhancement in both system configuration and business processes to ensure optimization of tools and data integrity.
