Senior Risk Analyst
The Product Risk and Data Analytics group is seeking a quantitative analyst to help develop models of novel financial products and to help with risk assessment and hedging decisions related to these new products. These financial models will be used synergistically with machine-learning based predictive models of policy holder behavior developed by the team to enable risk discovery, product development, product pricing, and on-going product management. Our group works closely with Actuarial, Reinsurance Deal Origination, Product Development, Finance, Sales, Operations, Investments, Hedging, and Planning on financial modeling, hedging, and data analytics projects. As part of a larger quant-modeling team that reports through the Chief Risk Officer, the team has unique vantage point into nearly all aspects of the enterprise.
Degree in financial engineering, economics, math, statistics, computer science, a physical or biological science, engineering, or related field. Experience in a programming language such as C/C++, java, or python (python is our primary development language, but not strictly required). Practical experience, coursework, or knowledge of derivative pricing. Industry experience is a plus, but not required.
