In July 2020, KKR & Co. signed a strategic transaction to acquire Global Atlantic.  The transaction is expected to close in early 2021, subject to required regulatory approvals and certain other customary closing conditions.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Inforce Operations & Product Support Intern position is based in our Des Moines, IA office and will support the efforts of our Trad Life Inforce Operations team. For this opening, we are targeting December 2021 and May 2022 grads. This department provides oversight and control of day to day service functions that take place at our Third Part Administrator (TPA), as well as provides oversight to production support and end to end defect resolution management. They partner with operational teams, product, compliance, sales, and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with team members and assist with a variety of project work
  • Build relationships and regularly communicate with TPAs
  • Assist in analyzing and resolving TPA defects
  • Write correspondence for customer communication events associated with production support remediation efforts
  • Create processes and business operating guidelines for TPA’s
  • Assist with auditing and controls over the TPA’s, recommend process improvements
  • Analyze spreadsheets in Excel and combine data for comparison

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduating December 2021 or May 2022
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, or other related degree
  • Possess technical aptitude and an ability to manage and analyze large data sets
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, and Third Part Administrators in both written and verbal form
  • Highly motivated and driven - strong desire and willingness to learn
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Detail and results oriented, works well both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with multiple administrative systems
