POSITION OVERVIEW

The Analyst will join Global Atlantic’s New York-based Institutional business. We are a ~15 person principal investing team within Global Atlantic Financial Group, subsidiary of KKR. We are focused on deploying capital on reinsurance and acquisition opportunities in the US Insurance Industry. To date, the Institutional business has acquired over $40 billion of assets.

The Analyst will work closely with other members of the Institutional business and interface with business leaders and senior management to:

  • Produce investment analysis on all potential opportunities. This consists of building three-statement financial models and presentation materials detailing the strategic rationale and economic thesis
  • Present investment recommendations to senior team-members
  • Prepare materials used to support transaction recommendations to GA’s executive management team
  • Engage in and support the negotiation of transaction opportunities with potential clients / counterparties
  • Monitor financial markets and assess impact on the business and potential transaction opportunities
  • Support development of origination and strategy materials for the Institutional business
  • Collaborate both within Institutional business, as well as with other areas such as Investments, Risk, Actuarial, Finance, and Legal

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree required with outstanding academic record and high level of personal integrity
  • 1+ years of experience in financial services. Experience in investment banking, consulting, or insurance is preferred
  • Strong analytical / quantitative and technical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated interest in finance and strategy
