In July 2020, KKR & Co. signed a strategic transaction to acquire Global Atlantic.  The transaction is expected to close in early 2021, subject to required regulatory approvals and certain other customary closing conditions.

POSITION OVERVIEW

* We are looking to start this position immediately or two weeks' notice at full time hours, 40 hours a week.* 

The HR Intern position is open to graduate students from any Business/Human Resources field of study. The Intern will join the Hartford office in support of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Business Partner activities.  This position reports to our SVP, Head of Talent and the Job Functions may include the following:

  • Partnering with the Human Resources Business Partners in exit interviews, employee performance and talent reviews
  • Assist in the implementation of new Talent Management System, Success Factor
  • Strong sense of urgency to fulfill requests and reply to communication
  • Partner with the Talent team in assisting with recruiting for open positions
  • Maintain great communication with the candidates during their interview processes and Talent team
  • Have a strong background in Excel and a data driven mindset.
  • Creating learning tools and user guides for system implementation
  • Provide analytics, dashboards, metrics support and reporting from HR Platform
  • Support system administration of HR Platform
  • Analyze and present data through visualization tools

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Masters Program part time or successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in 2020. 
  • Pursuing a masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Communications preferred
  • Strong interest in a career path in Human Resources
  • Strong technical aptitude with MS Office including Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus (Greenhouse)
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus
  • Experience with Data Analysis
  • Basic understanding of Recruiting and HR concepts, policies and procedures, and administrative procedures
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-reliant; Takes initiative in problem-solving ; has confidence in abilities; knows when it is ok to ask for help
  • Expert prioritization and multi-tasking in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Resilient in a changing environment with frequent interruptions
  • Strong customer orientation
