In July 2020, KKR & Co. signed a strategic transaction to acquire Global Atlantic.  The transaction is expected to close in early 2021, subject to required regulatory approvals and certain other customary closing conditions.

The Business Relationship Intern is responsible for supporting the operational relationship with assigned distribution partners. The Intern will support employees who foster a strong partnership with distribution partners while working closely with internal teams to provide proactive operational support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accountability, collaboration, strong relationship skills and have a drive to excel. Key responsibilities may include:

  • Provide support to the Firm team, Wholesaler Support team and Problem Management team
  • Support those who manage the operational relationship with assigned distribution partners by providing ongoing support for product, technology and service initiatives
  • Exposure to third party interaction and external relationships, will assist in the collection and analysis of data from these interactions in an effort to drive process improvements
  • Analyze data and create report using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Based on research findings, suggest updates to documentation of processes and procedures
  • Gain exposure to working with employees who serve as the primary liaison between sales and operations
  • Responsible for assisting in resolving operations-related issues and supporting the individual who is serving as the point person for escalations
  • Collaborate with sales and operations leaders and provide support in efforts to increase distribution partner production
  • Partner with sales to identify and act on feedback and trends to aid in enhancing the overall producer experience


  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a Business Management related field, graduating in December 2021 or May 2022
  • Exposure to Data Analytics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment
