In July 2020, KKR & Co. signed a strategic transaction to acquire Global Atlantic.  The transaction is expected to close in early 2021, subject to required regulatory approvals and certain other customary closing conditions.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Insurance Operations team is looking for a Workforce Management Intern to join for the summer of 2021. For this opening, we are targeting December 2021 and May 2022 grads. During this 10 week internship, the Intern will work on forecasting, scheduling, and productivity projects.

Primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assist with forecasting daily and interval level workload based on historical trends and key business drivers.
  • Assist with the development of daily reports covering received volume, team performance, schedule adherence, handle times, and additional KPIs.
  • Research and analyze data to provide insights into team performance. Perform root cause analysis to determine and explain variances in performance.
  • Develop ad hoc reports at the request of leadership and other key stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Data, or other related degree
  • Candidate's graduating in December 2021 or May 2022
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access (Tableau, VBA, SQL, a plus)
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
  • Skills in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision making.
  • Ability to organize information and have attention to detail and accurately follow procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, management team, other Departments, vendors, and outside agencies, including being sensitive to professional ethics.
